Gosaikunda Lake is very easy,short and sweet trek in Langtang region.
Trek starts at Dhunche after driving from Kathmandu and continues to Gosaikunda through Thulo Syabru,the greatest Tamang village with the stone roof topped local houses and rises to Sing Gompa, a place very famous for yak cheese.
We pass to Cholong Pati and Laurebena crossing the dense pine forest and other different kinds of vegetation.
We can see the excellant views of Tibetan mountain range during the trek.
We hike up to Gosainuda Lakes exploring different five holy lakes.
These lakes are very important according to Hinduism and Shamanism.
Everey year, there will be pilgrimage festival of Hindu people and shamans to purify according to spiritual beliefs.
Then, we descend to Dhunche from Gosaikunda along the jungle walk from Sing Gompa and arrive near the water project of Norway in Gosaikunda River at Dhunche.
Finally, we come back to Kathmandu by bus.
